Commercial Auto Insurance
GUARDING YOUR COMMERCIAL automobiles
If a vehicle is used to run errands for your company or business, transport clients, to go on business trips or for anything relating to the operators’ occupation, profession or business, a commercial auto insurance policy is necessary. The loss of vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks or other specialty vehicles can not only affect your business operations but as a business owner, you may find yourself personally responsible. Especially without commercial auto insurance policy, it will be financially costly for you.
Why Do You Need Commercial Auto Insurance?
If you are using your auto to transport goods or people for a fee or to conduct a service, you may need a commercial auto insurance policy
A commercial auto policy may be appropriate if you need higher limits of liability because of the nature of your work

Any Questions?
I use my vehicle for both personal and commercial use, does commercial auto insurance cover it for my personal use too?
Unlike personal auto insurance which covers vehicles for personal use only, commercial auto insurance covers both. So if you’re using your car or truck for both personal and commercial use, our commercial auto insurance policy will cover for both.
My personal item in my car just got stolen, does commercial auto insurance cover for it?
Unless your personal item is permanently attached to your vehicle, yes, our commercial auto insurance policy does cover it. I’m sorry but it doesn’t cover the brand new car seat you just bought.
How much will my insurance increase if my commercial vehicle is involved in an accident?
This isn’t guaranteed as there are other factors to determine if the rate were to be increased. An accident doesn’t affect the rate of your current policy but it may influence the rate when you renew your policy. Accident-related rate changes are determined by several factors such as who accountable for the accident and your accident history. Each time your policy expires, it is rewritten to reflect your current situation.
I was involved in an accident in my commercial vehicle but it wasn’t my fault, do I still have to pay for my deductible?
That depends. If the party at fault was insured, we’ll do our best to get it back from their insurance company. If they didn’t have insurance, we’ll attempt to get it directly from them.

We offer a commercial auto insurance general plan that covers both primary liability and physical damage as well as customizes a plan that fits you. If you have a small business, we can also help you with simplified business owners’ policy (BOP).
